A Life Out of Balance: A Call for Realignment in Our Lives and Nation By Balance Code Alliance

In nature, everything operates with silent precision. The sun doesn’t rise late. Rivers don’t flow backward. Seasons don’t forget their time. There is an unseen order—a balance that holds the world together.

But in Nigeria today, and in many of our personal lives, that balance has been broken.

We are living a life out of balance, and it’s showing everywhere.

Broken Natural Order: The Nigerian Reality

A country where criminals are celebrated and integrity is mocked is already tilted.

From ritual killings to yahoo-yahoo, from prostitution for survival to kidnapping for ransom, from public funds looted without consequence to citizens silenced for speaking truth—this is not natural. This is not balance.

Nature does not reward disorder; it corrects it—sometimes gently, sometimes painfully.

Cause and Effect: What We Sow, We Reap

We often say “Na condition cause am.” True, but every condition is a seed planted by human hands.

A student who sees fraudsters buy Benz and trend online will start doubting the power of hard work.

A young girl watching society reward ‘runs’ more than education may start to ask: “What’s the point of trying?”

This is how imbalance becomes generational.

Internal Chaos, External Crisis

Nigeria’s external battles—corruption, insecurity, moral decay—mirror the internal struggles of her people.

Many of us live lives out of rhythm.

We chase quick money but lose peace.

We post perfection online but are broken inside.

We know the right thing, but fear, pressure, or survival keeps us silent.

When individuals are off balance, families wobble.

When families wobble, communities weaken.

And when communities weaken, nations collapse.

The Law of Alignment

The world is designed to reward alignment.

Balance is not perfection—it is living with principles:

A man who works hard, lives honest, and speaks truth.

A woman who protects her values in a world full of pressure.

A youth who builds rather than destroys.

A leader who serves with clean hands.

Nigeria’s healing begins not in Aso Rock, but in the mindset of ordinary people.

That’s where the real realignment starts.

The Silent Cost of Imbalance

Living out of balance carries a price:

Anxiety becomes normal.

Contentment becomes impossible.

Joy is faked.

Trust dies.

Hope dries up.

And this is what we see in the faces on our streets. In the endless hustle. In the survival mode. In the crimes born not just from evil hearts but from desperate ones.

But nature always invites a reset. The rain always falls. A new day always comes. The question is: will we return to balance before we break completely?

So, What Can You Do?

Reflect on your values.

Choose integrity when it’s hard.

Speak truth in your space.

Raise your children with honor.

Challenge what’s wrong—even with your art, voice, and social media.

You may feel small, but nature doesn’t need a crowd to bring change. It starts with one seed, one action, one voice.

Final Word: Choose Balance Again

We don’t need perfection. We need realignment.

As Nigerians, we’ve seen too much, we’ve endured too long. But we are not powerless.

Let’s return to balance in how we live, love, earn, lead, and believe.

Let’s stop applauding what destroys us.

Because a life out of balance will always self-destruct, no matter how rich, famous, or strong it appears.

Choose truth. Choose order. Choose peace. Choose balance. Onyxe Nnaemeka
